Helping the community with electric bills / LIHEAP Program

Many people are only a paycheck away from having the electricity disconnected. We aim to prevent that from happening to anyone who is truly in financial desperation. In cooperation with Florida Power & Light Company and the Ft. Pierce Utilities Authority, the LIHEAP Program can pay utility bills for households that qualify up to twice a year.

For information on eligibility requirements, please contact our office at (772) 461-7788.

Cold Weather (inclement weather) Shelter

During inclement weather, we keep our doors open to offer a warm, dry, safe place for those in need to congregate and sleep. We provide hot meals, access to personal hygiene products, and hot showers.  This year, we also have a great Christmas Dinner planned for our "brothers and sisters without walls".

The shelter will be opening once the temperature drops to 45 degrees. For those who are homeless, there are services available through many of our community partners.
